motherhood

nothing is as exhausting yet simultaneously fulfilling as being a mother.

you never quite realize how selfish you naturally are until you have another little human completely dependent on you for literally everything.

you also don't realize how natural it is for those motherly instincts to erupt & take over. you want to protect your little love with your entire being & then some. I knew 'mama bear' was a phrase for a reason, but man... you don't understand the significance of it till you are one.

my life has changed since becoming her mama. but only for the better. I was meant for this. I wouldn't change being her mother for the world.
